📍日比谷・有楽町 《お食事 いわさき》
大正9年（1920年）創業、100年以上の歴史を刻む老舗定食屋。

有楽町のガード下でおでん屋として創業され、その後、昭和7年（1932年）に第2号店を開店。現在の店舗には1947年から営業を続けています。

昭和、平成、令和と時代を越えて、サラリーマンや常連さんに愛され続けてきた場所です。

暖簾をくぐれば、そこはまるで昭和にタイムスリップしたかのような空間。
短冊メニューが並ぶ壁、カウンターに漂う油の香り、そして家族で切り盛りされる温かな雰囲気。

今回は「チキンカツ定食」をいただきました。
揚げたての衣はザクッと軽やかに弾け、中の鶏肉はふっくらジューシー。
頬張った瞬間、思わず笑みがこぼれ、日々の疲れがほどけていく。

100年の時を超えて受け継がれる“変わらない一膳”は、ただお腹を満たすだけでなく、心をそっと支えてくれる存在。

「今日もまた頑張れそうだ」
そう思わせてくれる、老舗ならではの力を感じました。

📍 Hibiya / Yurakucho – Oshokuji Iwasaki

Tucked away in a quiet back alley of Hibiya, there’s a hidden gem that has been loved for over a century.
Founded in 1920 (Taisho era), Oshokuji Iwasaki is a retro-style Japanese eatery that has been serving comforting set meals to busy workers and locals for more than 100 years.

As you step through the noren curtain, you’re greeted by the nostalgic aroma of freshly fried dishes and the warm, old-fashioned atmosphere of a classic Japanese diner.

This time, I tried their Chicken Katsu Teishoku.
The golden, crispy coating gives a satisfying crunch, while the chicken inside remains incredibly juicy and tender.
With the very first bite, I couldn’t help but whisper to myself, “This is it…” — that familiar comfort you can only find in a true Japanese teishoku.

It’s in moments like these that you understand why this place has been cherished for generations.
More than just filling your stomach, it gently eases your heart, reminding you to take a breath in the middle of a busy day.

A meal that makes you say, “I’m glad I worked hard today.”

If you’re visiting Tokyo, especially around Hibiya or Yurakucho, this is one authentic dining experience you shouldn’t miss.
